Stunning lake views!
Had a nice 1 night stay in a Deluxe King Room with a beautiful view of the lake. The large private deck was awesome for chilling. Staff were super friendly, especially the reception lady who helped me with my car. The continental breakfast was good, but the snack bar could've had more snack options.

I had a lovely stay, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere while lounging by the beautiful grounds and making use of the vending machines for a late-night snack. It was nice to unwind in the garden area with comfy seating and the sound of birds singing all around. Just a heads up, the floors could use more frequent cleaning as they had some mud on them during my visit. 🌳

Cozy stay with stunning views of the lake. The cleanliness in the bathroom needs improvement. Easy access to fishing spots nearby.

Great location with lovely lake view, but Wi-Fi was intermittent during our stay.

missingWrote a review on Jul 03delicious fried fishcozy bedseasy picnic accesspoor bathroom cleanlinessdifficult phone access
If you fancy some wicked fried fish, make sure to hit up the local chippy. it's worth every penny! Plus, the comfy beds in the Deluxe Double or Twin Room with Lake View made for a cozy stay while watching ducks frolic. Easy access to the picnic area by the lake added to the charm.
Now, let’s not sugarcoat it—cleanliness in the bathroom could’ve been better. And dialing the property was a right faff. calls often got cut off even before 9pm. The hot tub seemed low on water and warmth, which was a major letdown.

I loved the comfortable bed. it made for a restful night. The cozy seating area allowed me to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. The peaceful atmosphere was perfect for unwinding. the bathroom cleanliness could definitely be improved. Some parts felt neglected, and that was a downside. The common spaces were nice, but I noticed some maintenance issues like chipped paint and loose fittings. Despite these issues, the stay felt relaxing overall. The local shops offered delicious fried fish, a must-try. Easy access to the picnic area by the lake added to the charm.

great access to parks and landmarks for weekend explorers
I loved how easy it was to stroll around nearby parks and check out landmarks like Longford Park and the George Eliot Statue during my stay. the serene lake view from my room added an extra touch to the experience.

missingWrote a review on Jun 01stunning viewscozy seatingpeaceful atmospherepoor cleanliness
The views from the Deluxe King Room with Lake View offered a stunning backdrop that made relaxation easy. Cozy seating in the room combined with the peaceful atmosphere by the lake made it a pleasant escape.
Unfortunately, the accommodation didn’t reflect the high-end images touted online, resembling more of a basic fishing shack than a deluxe space. Cleanliness fell short, with unkempt bedding and remnants from previous guests left in the bathroom bin, leading to a very disappointing experience overall.

The tranquil, rustic decor made me feel right at home, and the easy access to all areas truly impressed me. It was delightful to see the nature surrounding the lodges from my balcony each morning.
More fitness facilities would be beneficial for seniors.
